1. You Give Review Bloggers A Bad Name

Reading a NYT article about bloggers who write reviews.

I had a problem with one blogger’s quote, “There is this misconception that bloggers write product reviews to get free stuff,” said Mrs. Presnal, a mother of three who lives in upstate New York. “I don’t blog about a product if I don’t really like it.”

I feel the blogger is somewhat contradicting herself. She doesn’t write about a product if she’s going to give it a bad review. The only reason why she would do that is to ensure she continues to receive free products. I think she feels if she were to give a free product a bad review, she might not receive anymore free products.

I can’t trust a blogger if they’re not willing to voice negative opinions about a product.

We receive free products all the time, but if something sucks, we’re going to say it sucks.
